Our client sought new products to fill its pipeline
Our client was an established USA based medical device company that was seeking to expand its pipeline of new products. We were asked to undertake a technology scouting assignment to identify potential new surgical product / technology opportunities that were a good fit with the company’s mechanical /electrical engineering manufacturing capabilities and its current sales channels. The brief was to cast the net wide geographically and to generate a ‘long-list’ of opportunities that could then be further investigated to generate a ‘short-list’ for engagement with the owners. Alacramed used its wide network of contacts in the medical device industry, together with personal knowledge and internal and external databases to find new opportunities for the client.
