Our client wished to exit by finding a large company buyer
Our client, a European medical imaging component company, wished to find a buyer. We were asked by our client to identify potential acquirer companies and to engage with them to canvass interest in our client’s company. We identified a ‘long-list’ of target companies some of which were the client’s existing and past clients and others that we believed would have a strategic interest in the acquisition. We assisted the company in developing introductory presentational material and then identified appropriate senior managers in each of the target companies to make the initial contact with. We then took the lead in contacting the companies and making introductions, when we received positive replies, to senior management in our client’s company to progress more detailed discussions.
